Agatha Ibeazor Biography (Apata Yoruba Song Sheet Music)

She was granted a full scholarship by NNPC, with that she attended Truman State University, which prides itself among the top 10 universities in the Midwest of the USA. Consequently, Ibeazor dropped the Possibility of studying Law at the Anambra State University (ANSU).

Her disconsolate mum couldn’t afford the tuition and living expenditure. This was the darkest hour of her life, as her youthful dream of becoming a lawyer crashed irretrievably before her eyes. Agatha Onyinye Ibeazor, also a grad of the MUSON School of Music, Onikan, Lagos, can be a living testimony that the darkest night often shows the bright star.

She also lost her dad at the age of confronted a tough fight for survival, together with side her widowed mum along with an additional four siblings. Not her mother’s steady hands could alleviate the stranglehold of hardship on her family. Like a drowning person that clutches at a straw, Ibeazor grabbed the chance of studying at the Muson Diploma School, Lagos, with the tuition fees paid by MTN Foundation for admitted students. Attending the institution, surprisingly turned out to be the magic secret which unlocked her gates of treasure.

Agree with her testimony: “I have admitted to study at MUSON and attended for two decades, completing my partner diploma level and graduating using the prize for voice. Two years after my graduation, I was given a scholarship from former NNPC Spokesman, the late Dr. Levi Ajuonuma. This allowed me to wait for Truman State University within the USA, where I just graduated honors (Magna Cum Laude), achieving my Bachelor’s of Music degree.”

Recall when she graduated from MUSON School of Music at 2009, she won the first prize for singing and proceeded to teach music in Strauss School of Music, Maitama, for a month or two. She afterward became a freelance and taught music in many of schools in Abuja for another two years. It had been in that period her talent was detected by Geir HenningBraatena, a successful international Norwegian pianist, during a concert in Abuja.

“I have always dreamt of singing in the opera, and it had remained a fantasy until the generosity of MTN in paying my school fees at MUSON, at which I had been presented with the finest musical instruction. That fantasy has become a reality as I begin my journey into the world point. MTN paid my school fees as well as provided funds because of my novels, transport and encouraged me with a stipend as pocket money. Today, I am a proud graduate of Truman State University within the USA of America, and my name is listed in the honor row. I was also presented with silver decoration,” enthusiastic Ibeazor. Aside from bagging a level, Ibeazor smiled home with the outstanding musicianship prize by the music section of Truman State University.

Her name has also been engraved in the departmental honor list for music. Our reporter gathered that through the audio honors recital from the school, Ibeazor was awarded the outstanding musicianship trophy by the audio section, where her name was recorded from the departmental honor list for music.

“I owe all this into the financial aid I received from MTN, and I am forever grateful to them,” she said.

She responded, “that I intend to go to grad school for my master’s and doctoral degrees simultaneously. I’ve been admitted to the Crane School of Music, the State University of New York in Potsdam and also the Butler School of Music, the University of Texas at Austin. I am searching for exemptions to be able to attend one of the schools because on my next year during my period at Truman, I lost my Sponsor, former NNPC spokesman, Dr. Levi Ajuonuma to the June 2012 Dana airplane crash.

Since that time, after his departure, Truman State University took payment up of part of my tuition. Also, I had to work to get the rest.” It had been the property by MTN that gave Ibeazor that the chance to become a Nigerian Opera singer.
